1. You must be within California and have a recommendation signed by a California physician. We are bound by law to operate within California and cannot send anything over state lines.

2. You must fill out our application packet and return it to us, along with a copy of your recommendation and a copy of your photo ID. We verify every recommendation so if your doctor does not have a 24 hour verification in place, there may be a delay.

3. Once when we receive all of the paperwork and the recommendation is verified by the doctor, we will schedule an intake appointment. This is where we will go over our collective, how best we can help you, and answer any questions you may have about medical marijuana. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes. The intake appointment is where we will go over treatment, proper dosing, and how it may interact with cancer or chemotherapy.

This workshop is located in the Spinnaker Room II at the Waterfront Hotel, 10 Washington Street, Oakland, CA.

We are happy to announce that WAMM won “Best Medical Marijuana” from Santa Cruz Weekly.  This is our third year in a row taking the title and would like to thank everyone who took the time to make it happen.

Our Executive Director, Valerie Corral, also won “Local Hero.”  Congratulations to her!
