| Thu Dec 19 14:13:16 2002 | I live in Colorado with medicinal marijuana laws but cannot find a doctor to recommend I use some marijuana. I'm depressive with bout of suicidal tendencies, and if it wasn't for marijuana to empty my mind, I'd have been burried a long time ago. Why did we vote for ? | Wed Dec 18 14:45:49 2002 | I just talked to some folks in the SF Sheriff's Department. They are willing to entertain proposals from SF patients about following the lead of the Santa Cruz department and deputize patients to produce medicine, after all, there is medical necessity, the exigent circumstances caused by the Fed persecution means that The City, as a Medical Marijuana Sanctuary, must, by whatever means necessary, JUST GROW IT! . |

Humanity needs all of the environmentally friendly resources it can produce and process. Cannabis hemp is the worlds premiere biomass resource. It needs to be mass produced and processed globally. I live in Wyoming where there is no chance that I would ever be perscribed Marijuana which I have been told would alleviate some of the pain without affecting my liver.I feel our federal governments policies toward medical marijuana are sadistic. | Thu Nov 14 18:32:52 2002 | Just a quick note to tell you to keep up your good work and the fight. Marijuana has one use that I would like to give credit to. I was able to quit smoking cigarettes while using MJ. I substituted MJ for cigarettes and was able to quit my very poisoness and legal nicotine addiction. Tell your patients about this too! |
| Wed Nov 13 09:46:13 2002 | There are no addicts. Only people in pain. What we call addiction may just be self medication for undiagnosed pain. PTSD etc. http://www.sierratimes.com/02/11/10/edms111002.htm http://www.sierratimes.com/02/11/11/edms111102.htm M. Simon msimon@xta.com. |

| Tue Nov 5 02:01:42 2002 | I just came by to leave another message, this one wishing you luck with the court case. Your argument that the Interstate Commerce Clause leaves no room for this kind of authoritarian invasion is a brilliant one. Good luck with the case, and I'm rooting for you, as well as (as Val knows) helping introduce new supporters. And thanks again for the active and compassionate work you do for those in need. Your individual cheering section, -Paul Wagner- . |

It is a shame about your garden and the arrests and harrassment. In the future, perhaps such nonsense shall be muted. | Wed Sep 25 01:56:36 2002 | Hey DEA, Please remove your collective heads from your posteriors, and perform your duties in a proper priority; i.e. protect our society from actual drug-related harm, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with recreational cannabis, much less the medicine upon which many depend for their very survival. Sincerely, Rick Steeb, San Jose . |

| Thu Sep 19 22:32:33 2002 | An ex-member of CHAMP and OCBC in San Francisco and Oakland, can attest to the good that Medical cannabis provides. Now he is in the South Eastern United States, after being fired for his disabilities from a federal job, and he struggles with pain on a daily basis due to a 100% disability rated back injury incurred in military service. Sincerely, A spokesman for a disabled veteran who has been illegally silenced by corrupt government, federal and state. |

I'm sponsoring a healing circle to help make the mountain holy again after its desecration.Hold thoughts of healing as you drift off to sleep, and note any dreams that may follow. That garden was the chosen resting place for Elizabeth's ashes. may we consecrate it again with our thoughts and our deeds. . |

The DEA raid, acting under the orders of a Republican President and Attorney General, is nothing short of ironic. Isn't the core belief of the Republican party that STATE'S should have the right to enforce their own laws?! I guess that only applies when it comes to lining their pockets with payoffs from wealthy industrial polluters. . |
| Tue Sep 10 17:28:50 2002 | Initially, the DEA raid on WAMM made no sense to me. Considering the size of the illegal drug trade in the U.S., I wondered why the DEA would descend on a small marijuana field cultivated for medicinal, members-only use. The most likely explanation: an anacronistic antipathy for anti-establishment, left-leaning activists. But that felt like an easy answer. So... (Message wouldn't fit. Will try to email another way. EAS.) Elizabeth Stein |
| Mon Sep 9 17:34:13 2002 | The recent DEA raid on WAMM is an outrage beyond words. It demonstrates that the U.S. Government not only refuses to recognize the will of the voters, it shows how cruel their bullying tactics can be. However, I'm convinced that love and truth will prevail. I suspect that this terrorist attack on WAMM is the begining of the end of these horrific and unjust laws. They'll be sorry. One day a statue of Valerie Corral, holding a marijuana leaf, will stand proudly in downtown Santa Cruz. |
| Mon Sep 9 14:08:46 2002 | The Tsarist Occupation Government has trashed the first, second, fourth and tenth amendments, and grows more totalitarian every week. CALIFORNIA SECESSION NOW! |
| Mon Sep 9 12:59:51 2002 | The actions of the DEA and the Bush Administration show once again how little respect this administration really has for democracy and how little compassion there is in Republican politics. The arrest of Valerie and Michael Corral and the destruction of the WAMM garden is an outrage. May courage and peace prevail even in the face of these continuing assaults. Wendy Chapkis (Associate Professor of Sociology and Women's Studies, University of Southern Maine) . |
| Mon Sep 9 12:43:18 2002 | After reading of the most recent example of Ashcroft's thugs overstepping their bounds, I can only say I hope this heinous crime makes front pages around the country. The tide is going to turn against these swine, and the sooner the better. Best of luck to WAMM. . |
| Mon Sep 9 10:27:02 2002 | The recent raid on the WAMM clinic is summed up in one word. Bullshit. The timing of these raids has to be the most appaling. How much longer will people be forced to suffer. The DEA should be ashamed of themselves and understand that America is a democracy. The people of California support the use of medical marijuana and have legaly passed legislation to support its use. South Dakota will keep all of the sick and dying in our prayers during this week. . |
| Sun Sep 8 15:46:50 2002 | The DEA can do whatever they want, even hurt sick and dying people in the name of justice. What will they do when their children and their parents get ill? |
| Sun Sep 7th or 8th 2002 | The guestbook feature on our site went live at: www.wamm.org |
