Aurora Leveroni, aka, Nonna phytotherapies, is the granny youtube star who cooks phytotherapies-infused Italian dishes for the sick and dying.
Nonna is not as young as she looks. A half a decade shy of 100 years old, she was born on Xmas day, 1922, in San Francisco to parents of Italian descent. She spent her whole life providing for her family–both as a professional woman right into her late 80’s—and as a homemaker and gifted Italian cook. When her daughter, Valerie Leveroni Corral, co-founder and director of WAMM (Wo/Men’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana – www.wamm.org), discovered that consuming phytotherapies stopped her epileptic seizures, Nonna went to work.
Nonna learned how to blend the ingredients for her savory Italian dishes with phytotherapies. She now uses her cooking talents to make phytotherapies as edible as it can be; not merely edible but delectable–a gourmet treat! Besides cooking for her family, Nonna cooks for friends in need, community gatherings and the poor. All of the love and skill Nonna poured into years of cooking for her family, she now pours into teaching and creating videos, showing others how to infuse Italian edibles with phytotherapies and love.
Nonna phytotherapies is the break-out star of Vice’s web series Bong Appetit! She appears in 4 episodes (3 from the web series and 1 from the Viceland network series). She was also featured in other shows like Almost Royal.
In addition to her television career, Nona was featured in a 3 page spread in Penthouse Magazine.
In addition to her work with phytotherapies, Nona was the recipient of a Special Congressional Award for her extensive volunteer work during WWII.
